PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

 

Dr. Tesha Robinson is a current School Social Worker with the St. Louis Public School system. Tesha has also held positions of a substitute Teacher with the St. Clair County School District, a school social worker with the East St. Louis School District #189 and the Unified Delinquent Intervention Service (UDIS) Case Manager for Children’s Home and Aid in Granite City.

 

Tesha has completed a Principal Internship where she helped facilitate PBS/RTI programs to improve the students’ behavior management skills, assisted with addressing discipline referrals and conducted teacher observations and provide recommendations for improvement. For her MSW Practicum, she served as the Family Education Partnership Program Case Manager for the Lessie Bates Davis Neighborhood House in East St. Louis, IL where she provided educational support services to at-risk student, resulting in reduced suspension and expulsion and identified interventions to help improved issues related to truancy, bullying, and anger management.

 

Tesha has served as the Wraparound Services Mentor/Facilitator where she conducted one on one treatment with the Education and Support Specialist for appropriate role modeling, social interaction, relationship building and respite time for caregivers and developed wraparound plans that are family centered and based on family’s developing strengths and evolving needs. Tesha has experience in Screening, Assessment and Support Services (SASS) analyzing the results of the assessments to determine if the individuals needed to be placed in a psychiatric facility.
