PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Mrs. Rachel Logan has served as the School Social Worker for the Cahokia School District #187 in Cahokia, IL where her duties included developing and hosted social enrichment groups addressing: Grief, Positive Self Esteem, Friendship, Conflict Resolution, Bullying, Anger Management, and Etiquette. Rachel has experience in facilitating social/ academic groups for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, conducting Disorder, Developmental Impairment, and Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder and Implementing crisis interventions with students, parents, and medical physicians to ensure safety and academic progression.
For her MSW Practicum, Rachel complied and presented Social Developmental Study reports at Individualize Education Plans meetings on elementary and high school students, performed as an Intake Coordinator for early childhood screenings targeting at-risk children, Co-facilitated high school grief group with Heartlinks Program through Family Hospice, facilitated weekly social skills groups for elementary students in self-contained classrooms, helped organize PBIS school-wide programs such as; Check-In Check-Out to improve students’ hourly behavior and created single gendered social/emotional groups targeting areas of: Bullying and Goal Setting
