Welcome

I am pleased to introduce myself, and to provide you with information about my counselling services.  I am a Registered Professional Counsellor (RPC) and I welcome you to Iridescence Counselling, conveniently located in beautiful Maple Ridge, BC.  I am an active member of the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA) and the Canadian College of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists (CCPCP). I have worked with all aspects of society, of all ages, from Special Needs Children, to High-Risk Teens and Adults, to couples and all facets of their relationships.  I am dedicated to helping you work through any areas of your life that you want to address.  My therapeutic approach draws from varied models and approaches in order to respond appropriately to your needs.  I am committed to provide a safe, trusting and non-judgmental climate where you can feel encouraged throughout the counselling process.  Let Iridescence Counselling be the first footprint in your journey to recovery.

• Trained in Level I and Level II of  Gottman Couples Therapy

• Yearly attendance to professional development seminars and conferences

• A member in good standing with the Canadian Professional Counselling Association

Why Iridescence Counselling? 

The definition of ‘Iridescence’ is the experience of changing light waves to create dynamic colours through a moving lens.  As a counsellor, I believe looking through this lens is paramount to understanding our life - to not only see its richness, but to view our problems in this new light, gaining a refreshing, vibrant perspective on the path to recovery.  It is sometimes difficult, and not uncommon, to feel hesitant when reaching out to another when you are struggling.  Feelings are real and have a huge impact on your health and well-being.  No one should suffer alone and I am here to help.  It is possible to find the courage you need to make movement towards the positive changes you deserve.  Together, we will reveal your path by navigating towards your wants and needs.  I look forward to meeting and working with you.  Come… and discover your dynamic life.
